Hyke Computing Services is committed to respecting and protecting your online privacy.
This Internet Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Hyke Computing
Services protects your privacy when you provide personal information on the hykelab.com
website (the "Web Site"). As used in this Policy, the term "personal
information" refers to information that is specific to you personally,
either by itself or in combination with other available information.
Your Consent
By using the Web Site, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.

You can visit the Web Site and browse most pages without providing any personal
information. If you choose to purchase a software product, the following
standard details will be requested via the checkout form or transmitted to us via PayPal:

Name (required)
Organisation Name (if relevant)

This information will be encrypted and securely transferred to us. It will only

IP Addresses
When you visit the Web Site, the web server automatically logs your IP address,
which is the unique address of your computer on the Internet. These
IP addresses enable the collection of broad demographic information for
improving website services and communication facilities.
Web Browser Information
The web server will automatically receive general details about each Internet session
such as the operating system of the computer or the type of Web browser used.
These enable the provision of an effective service on the Web Site by improving it to
match the technology used by website visitors.
Cookies
The Web Site uses "session cookies." A session cookie is a
unique identifier that is generated by the web server when you access the Web Site. It is
used to lookup your previously entered information that is securely
held on the web server. A session cookie does not identify you personally and
is automatically deleted after you close your browser.
If you have configured your browser to disable cookies, the functionality
of the Web Site may not be entirely available.
Hardware Information
When you install and activate the hykelab software, a machine-specific identifier
is generated based on your computer hardware. This identifier is not reversible and cannot
be used to extract any information about yourself or your computer; it is used only to
validate your license. It is stored permanently in a license file on your computer and
on our secure server.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use
of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial
procedures to safeguard and secure the information you provide online. For example,
we use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to transfer information over
the Internet. However, as is the case with all computer networks linked to the Internet,
we cannot guarantee the security of information provided over the Internet and will
not be responsible for breaches of security.
